Its 7 5/8 in. blade marked FRANCIS NEWTON REAL PREMIER KNIFE on the left side; an alloy plate on the horn grip's side reads "TO ALIC KENNEDY FROM ROBERT GOWER SEPTEMBER 1870." In addition to the primary blade, this knife is equipped with a corkscrew, combination tweezers-blade, and a pick. The whole is secured in a leather sheath having silver alloy mounts.

LOA in sheath 13.5 in.
