1957, woodcut print on kozo paper, signed and dated in pencil under image "Munakata 1957 I2 '8'" followed by a red artist's seal, "The Print Club of Cleveland publication No. 37" label is on back of frame, Shiko is a celebrated artist known for receiving honors not only in Japan, but also in Europe and Americas, his designs mainly in black ink are reminiscent of his early love for kite design and for the beauty found in nature, framed under glass with mat, loose secured with framer's tape on top corners to mat.
