Collection of Bob Hartford, former owner of Hartford Products Inc., Hillsborough, NC the Galloping Goose trains were built at Ridgway, Colorado. The first was built in 1931 from the body of a Buick sedan. Part of the rear of the car was replaced by a truck bed for carrying freight and mail; this was later enclosed and fitted with some seating. Most later versions were built using Pierce-Arrow bodies.
Good estate condition; boxes with scuffs-water damage. Not tested to be working.
