Including a master salt with lion mask knees and paw feet by an unknown maker (2.75 x 2.5 in.); a Gorham footed salt engraved "Carrie" and with Greek key motif to rim; a Gorham salt with acanthus leaf knees and trefid feet, period monogram "MCR" and engine turned decoration to body; a Bailey & Kitchen parcel gilt salt raised on hoof feet and with floral repoussé decoration to body, period "A" monogram; an Albert Coles parcel gilt footed salt with engraved decoration and period monogram "M.M.S.;" (3) salt shovels by various makers; a salt spoon with mark of Beggs & Smith of Cincinnati, OH; a parcel gilt salt spoon with mark of Albert Coles; and a pair of individual salt spoons.

The Lifelong Collection of Keith and Caroline Gray, Charlotte, NC. Keith and Caroline Gray were passionate about antiques, art, and history. Together they attended antique shows and auctions for decades – assembling a collection particularly strong on American coin silver, Asian art, historical documents, early images, and English ceramics. Both were longtime supporters of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, with Caroline serving in multiple capacities from docent to a member of the acquisitions board and trustee. Caroline translated her love of material culture into a successful career, becoming a certified property appraiser in Charlotte.
