(some wear to bowl); a set of (4) teaspoons with mark of Lewis Hyman of Richmond (active 1845-1864, 1865-1867), period monogram "SAN" (5.75 in.) (tooth marks to two handles); a tablespoon with mark of Charles Gennet of Richmond (active 1830-1887) and maker's mark of James Watts, period "F" monogram; a tablespoon with mark of Samuel Lewis of Washington, D.C. (active circa 1850-1880), period "AMG" monogram; a dessert spoon with mark of William H. White and no monogram; two non-matching teaspoons with mark of John Adam of Alexandria, circa 1830-1840; a teaspoon with mark of Thomas B. Humphreys of Richmond and maker's mark of James Watts; a teaspoon with mark of William W. Adam of Alexandria (active circa 1831-1877), with period script monogram; and a set of (5) dessert spoons with mark of M. W. Galt & Bros., engraved "Davidson" to the recto and "Montrose" to the verso (7 3/8 in.).

The Lifelong Collection of Keith and Caroline Gray, Charlotte, NC. Keith and Caroline Gray were passionate about antiques, art, and history. Together they attended antique shows and auctions for decades – assembling a collection particularly strong on American coin silver, Asian art, historical documents, early images, and English ceramics. Both were longtime supporters of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, with Caroline serving in multiple capacities from docent to a member of the acquisitions board and trustee. Caroline translated her love of material culture into a successful career, becoming a certified property appraiser in Charlotte.
