Including (10) master salt spoons by various makers; two pairs of sugar tongs, one with mark of De Riemer & Mead of Ithaca, NY and the second with mark of H. N. Stanley and pseudo hallmarks; (2) sugar shovels with mark of R. H. Bailey and B. M. Bailey of Vermont; (2) sugar shells, one with mark of Seymour & Lindsley of Hartford, CT; (5) sauce ladles, marks include Davis, Palmer & Co, Hotchkiss & Schreuder, J. Bailey, L. Emmons, and J. Goodhue Jr.; (2) tablespoons, one with mark of George Gray of Dover, NH, the other with rubbed mark; one butter pick with mark of William Gale, Sons & Co.; and (2) mustard ladles, mark of Theodore Evans & Co. and Matthew Pettit of New York, NY. Many with period monograms.

The Lifelong Collection of Keith and Caroline Gray, Charlotte, NC. Keith and Caroline Gray were passionate about antiques, art, and history. Together they attended antique shows and auctions for decades – assembling a collection particularly strong on American coin silver, Asian art, historical documents, early images, and English ceramics. Both were longtime supporters of the Mint Museum in Charlotte, with Caroline serving in multiple capacities from docent to a member of the acquisitions board and trustee. Caroline translated her love of material culture into a successful career, becoming a certified property appraiser in Charlotte.
