Estate of the Late Richard Rivoire of Charles County, Maryland and Raleigh, North Carolina. A noted historical architect, J. Richard Rivoire was a native of Charles County, Maryland and the first to do extensive documentation of historic structures in that county. He moved to Raleigh in 2005 and was actively engaged in the research and documenting of historic structure in this region.

McAuley began as a carriage painter for for the Canton Street Railway Co. in Canton, OH in the 1870s and 1880s. By 1910 he moved his family to New York City where he began a successful career as a fine artist. His son, Charles Raymond McAuley, was a respected political cartoonist, illustrator, and author.
