Attributed to the lower Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, early 19th century, poplar dovetailed case, with original red painted surface, hinged top with applied molded edge and original fishtail hinges, interior with till to the left side with a walnut lid above two dovetailed drawers, molded base, raised on shaped dovetailed bracket feet.
