Oil on canvas (lined), signed at lower left, the top stretcher retaining a hand-written label reading "on the back of the original canvas a certificate painter - said that this painting was made to order of Mr. D'Huyveter of Antwerpen - Belgian Flemish school," a second label affixed to the verso indicates the painting was restored by Pierre J. Martin of New York in March 1937, presented in the likely original ornate gilt composition frame.

SS 14 x 16.25 in.; DOA 23 x 24.5 in.

Surface grime and stable craquelure; some separation between original canvas and lining; area of re-touch to sky; three small holes in upper left quadrant of painting; some loss and chipping to frame.
