The first an oil on paper titled Roses IV, signed at lower right, retaining a Somerhill Gallery label on the verso, matted and framed under glass (DOA 17.75 x 14 in.); the second an oil on paper, untitled, unsigned, matted and framed under glass (DOA 27.75 x 18.25 in.).

Lucy Spencer earned her BFA from the University of Georgia and her MFA from UNC-Greensboro. Her works are in numerous public and private collections including Duke University and the Weatherspoon Gallery at UNC-G.

The smaller still life with nick to frame; neither examined out of the frames, but appear to be in good estate condition.
