C. 1900, includes an early blue and white Japanese porcelain plate in transferware design with two phoenixes and edged in a ridged iron brown rim, plate has a wire claw hanger to the reverse, and a ripple ridge vase with two raised three-claw blue dragons facing a flaming pearl, the background design in iron red and gilt in kimono patterns.

Plate: diameter 12.25 in.; Vase: height 12.5 in.

A slight chip to underside of plate rim; plate also has some firing defects on the underside.
