Circa 1800, unmarked, with finely hand-worked bright cut engraving including a shield form cartouche with basket of flowers above the period monogram "MAD," urn form with double lion mask ring handles, the domed cover with lifting finial featuring pierced frame for steam release, working spigot with carved ivory knob, all supported on a square plinth raised on four ball feet.
