The first of rectangular form with canted corners, inlaid shell design to hinged cover and front panel, double well to interior (5 x 7.25 x 4 in.) (cover does not close completely); the second of rectangular form with lightwood line inlay to edges, bale handle, ivory escutcheon, divided interior with central mixing well (6 x 11.25 x 6 in.) (some loss to inlay, replacement glass mixing bowl).
