Steve Andrus is an artist, sailor, and mountaineer. He first found his way to the Outer Banks of NC in the 1970s, where he founded the art department at Manteo High and Middle Schools. He long maintained a gallery in Nags Head where he sold only his original art, and is now back on the coast after a sojourn to Taos, New Mexico.
