19th century, a mahogany dovetailed and pointed arch case with glass panels lifts off the mahogany stand having tall turned legs and brass casters, containing an intricate model of York Minster cathedral comprised of painted laminated wood and wire.

York Minster is the second largest Gothic cathedral of Northern Europe; the present construction began in 1230 and was completed in 1472.

The case retains old wavy glass; cathedral with minor separations to some laminated panels; overall good estate condition.
