19th century, one-piece form, the high back featuring three tiered finials above a triangular relief carved frieze with central shield, above a high relief carved back panel featuring triple fleur-de-lis shield with three figures all above two running animals, hinged lid seat lifts to reveal an open compartment, flush arms with straight arm supports, base with front and side panels echoing the same carved design as the triangular frieze.
