Attributed to Gillows, late 18th century, mahogany veneers, oak and pine secondary, diminutive two-part form, bookcase with applied crest featuring an inlaid stylized flower above a frieze with inlaid rosettes within diamond pattern, two hinged doors featuring an unusual rounded mullion design, with a stylized inlaid spandrel to each corner, single shelved interior with later silk fabric interior lining, the top of the base features and inlaid putto with trumpet, the case having three side-by-side small drawers above two long drawers, side panels with central inlaid urn within wreath, raised on tall square tapered legs with inlaid bow and bellflowers.
