The first titled Five Steps to the Horizon, mixed media on paper, signed and illegibly dated at lower right, float mounted and matted under glass (Sheet 19.5 x 27.5 in.; DOA 28.25 x 36.5 in.) (very good estate condition; not examined out of the frame); the second titled Flight III, gouache on paper, signed and dated 1967 at lower lower right, float mounted and matted under glass (Sheet size 23.75 x 17.75 in.; DOA 32 x 26.5 in.) (minor toning to edges of sheet; sheet has slipped in the mount; not examined out of the frame); and the third titled Night Growth I, pencil on paper, signed at lower center, dated 1987, matted and framed under glass (Sheet 27.75 x 21.75 in.; DOA 37 1/8 x 31 1/8 in.) (Minor toning to edges of sheet; light scattered foxing; not examined out of the frame; minor chip to top right corner of frame).

Born in Silesia, now Poland, Guntram Gersch immigrated to the United States in 1956. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and was working as a professional artist by the 1970s. He exhibited throughout the world, maintaining a home and studio in Tryon, NC.
