NGC AU Details, Improperly Cleaned, Overton-103. Both sides of this coin show strong evidence of the opposing dies impressing one another. Most prominent on the obverse is a section of the reverse's E. PLURIBUS UNUM appearing upside-down beneath Liberty's bust. The reverse enjoys the variety's prominent raised line connecting the the eagle's right wing to the scroll above. Though cleaned, this coin has re-toned to a uniform light gray accented by darker rims. A classic error coin.
