Two Japanese Woodblock Prints

Edo period (1615-1868), ink and colors on paper, first print by Toshusai Sharaku entitled Ichikawa Omezo as Tomita Hyotaro and Otani Oniji III as Ukiyo Tohei, and the second an image of a geisha with a black lacquer case, both prints are laid down (adhered) to a mat and framed under glass.

DOA 21.25 x 16 in. (largest)

First print with light wear to surface; second print in poor condition with loss, fading, toning of paper, and foxing to surface.
