Arms began his Gargoyle Studies in 1920 and it has become a project celebrated for the artist's fascination with these medieval creatures and for his great attention to detail. Arms even printed some of the etchings on old paper to further place his compositions in context.

Overall good condition; some toning and hinging remnants; the second with mat burn; small crease to the third; the fourth with several small tears left edge.
