equipped with a 3.0 liter in-line 6 cylinder/150 hp engine, 4-speed transmission with overdrive, and power assisted brakes, this Big Healey runs, drives, and stops nicely for a car of its age. The engine starts easily, and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts, and the overdrive engages correctly.

This has been a North Carolina car from new. Originally delivered in the Port of Charleston in June of 1965 in Ivory White exterior with black trim and top. It was delivered to Harry's Cadillac in Asheville, NC and it remained in the area through five owners. It was then sold to a Raleigh, NC resident who owned it from 1987-2011. During this time it received some body repairs and a repaint in British Racing Green with some metal flake. It retains its original top, tonneau covers, and interior. Recent ownership has been since 2014. Since then the car was not driven and some repairs were made to prepare it for sale. A new wooden shift knob is included. The original blue drivers handbook in perfect condition, blue service manual and original tool roll is included;

Car is in nice driving condition; new clutch installed with new seals to transmission in May 2018; recent tune and clutch work by Austin-Healey qualified technician; starter, front brake calipers, pads, wheel cylinders, and brake lines, slave cylinder for clutch, voltage regulator, starter and light switches replaced in 2014; new carpet kit for trunk partially installed, trunk repairs needed before final install; the convertible shows 2 small tears, no weak areas; no leaks on garage floor.

To be expected, this car has had body and mechanical repairs. The body repairs seem to have been completed over the course of ownership, with little consistency to quality of repairs. Some of the welds in the quarters, along with some cracking in the body indicates filler was used; rockers were tack welded at the seam, and the lines remain fairly consistent; no major rust appears; the trunk floor pan was replaced recently and was installed incorrectly, upside-down, without corrections made to surrounding metal. As a result, there are gaps in the trunk, and the fuel tank's straps do not reach the securing points and one of the attachments for the spare does not line up. There seems to be an easy remedy, without opening any more body work; the seats show some age with splitting at seams; vinyl is in good condition; carpet needs replacing and is missing in floorboards; window fabric needs replacing; veneer dash shows nice patina with cracking; steering wheel is cracked; wheels and tires need replacing.
