The first, circa 1930s, is designed with small fabric squares sewn in a running diamond pattern (rust stain; faded and worn) (75 x 66 in.); the second is a contemporary applique quilt with bright orange stars (98 x 84 in. (some stains on the white border); a calico quilt, mid-century (border unfinished).
