Thelma Bennett (05/31/1910-09/01/1974) studied at Salem College and The Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston Salem. N.C. and at the University of Alabama. Her graphics, color graphics, and watercolors have been displayed in exhibition venues such as the art gallery of Winston-Salem and Charlotte's Mint Museum in 1967. In 1965 she was granted the Purchase Award at the 1965 North Carolina Artists Exhibition at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
