Lacquer on three panels, 1954, signed on lower left corner Tran Dzu Hong together with red artist's seal and date MIXCLIV, decorated with six deer in a lush forest presented in lavish oranges, reds, greens, and gold, finished with a later gilt frame.

From the Estate of the late Princess Lechi Tran Oggeri Rodriguez of Vietnam and Fayetteville, NC. The painting was commissioned from Tran Dzu Hong in Vietnam by her parents. A direct descendant of the Emperor of Annam, Lechi was born in Hanoi, Vietnam the daughter of the late Princess Nam Tran and the late Ambassador Tran Van Chuong.
