Worked in silk on linen ground, top register with verse from Introduction to the English Reader, or A Selection of Pieces in Prose and Poetry written in 1799 and with maker's name and date stitched below, bottom register centered with a three story home flanked on one side by a weeping willow tree and the other side a cypress tree, with birds above and with a rolling green lawn with grazing cows, with floral and undulating vine border and ribbon surmount, housed under glass and presented in an early cove molded walnut frame.

SS 17 x 17 in.; DOA 21.5 x 21.5 in.
