Attributed to New Hampshire, early 19th century, mahogany, mahogany veneer, tiger maple veneer, white pine secondary, two-part form, pediment with central veneered paneled plinth with stylized herringbone inlaid border, reeded horizontal frieze, upper case with two hinged molded mullioned doors, shelved interior, fall font pull-out writing slide with loper support, divided interior with four drawers, three cockbeaded long drawers, fall front lid and long drawers with tiger maple inlaid central panels, scalloped skirt, on tall turned legs.

71 x 42 x 18.5 in.

Later felt writing surface in fair condition; pull-out slide with later rope attachment; replaced pulls; replaced hinges to doors; drawer runners rebuilt.
