Second half of 20th century, ink and colors on paper, written in margin below the image on first print: 96/500, Kiso (in Japanese kanji print), K.Nishijima with red artist's seal, on the second print: 97/500, Kiso (in Japanese kanji print), K.Nishijima with red artist's seal, both prints depict Nishijima's central subject matter of scenes of traditional Japan in deep darker colors, he does not include people in his prints so as not to date them and to let the viewer imagine themselves there, both are identically framed with double mats under glass, not examined outside of the frame.
