Likely Connecticut, circa 1770, cherry, white pine and chestnut secondary, two-part dovetailed case form, upper case with applied cove molded cornice conforming with bonnet top, central shaped plinth, with three flame finials, above three small side-by-side drawers, the center with relief carved shell, above four graduated lipped drawers, the base with applied waist molding, above three large graduated lipped drawers, base with applied molding and raised on ogee short ball and claw feet.

87 x 40 x 20 in. Case width 35.5 in.

Later drawer glides and some drawer runners, later pulls with some plug patches; two areas of lip repair; backboards reset; later applied mahogany base molding and later mahogany ball and claw feet.
