Civil War Era CDV Album From Pennsylvania

Small 6 in. format, 18 leaves, leather boards with brass hasp; front endpaper inscribed "Presented by Mr & Mrs Cameron of Allegheny City to Anna G. Halsey," the album houses 36 numbered images identified by a two-page key. Most of the subjects appear to be prominent locals, however three military images are interspersed, these showing an enlisted man named John McDonald Smith, a Captain Fitch, and Brigadier General Alexander Hays. CDV lithographs of General Winfield Scott and Secretary of State James Seward are also present.
