Late 1840s-1850s, to include: a sixth plate image presented in a full case and identified on a note behind the image as "Sarah Antoinette (Holmes) Phinney when she was eight years old." Miss Phinney, a Mayflower descendant, was born in 1847 and lived until 1917; the second and third photographs are unidentified quarter plate portraits, both presented in half cases, one of leather and embossed by famed Southern Daguerreian George S. Cook of Charleston, SC; the other of thermoplastic and molded with a floral design.

All images with minor spotting and other surface issues; the thermoplastic case with substantial loss to one corner.
