Circa 1900, kutani porcelain produced in Kaga province and decorated in Satsuma style, signed on underside "kaga kuni kutani tsukuru," dimpled corners to square shaped tray hand painted with an array of shaped registers with landscape or bird and flower scenes, against a background of gilt highlighted kimono patterns.
