Mark of Thomas Bradbury & Sons, London (1913) hallmarks, presentation engraving reads "Presented to / Miss Stewart / Millhills / By a number of the Merchants & Tradesmen of Crieff / on the occasion of her marriage / March 21st, 1918," in the Neoclassical style with pomegranate finial to domed cover, double acanthus scroll handles to body which is raised on matching supports, a square base with ball feet supports the original burner, carved finial for spigot (53 troy oz., HOA 17 in.) (some scratching and very minor denting to body.); the salver with mark of George Hape, Sheffield (1923) hallmarks, with shaped edge and raised on three scrolled feet, no engraving or monograms (29.1 troy oz., 11.5 in. diameter) (light scratching).
