Mark of Hugh Wishart (active circa 1793-1824), the four piece service including a teapot with ebonized handle (7 3/8 in.), a parcel gilt sugar bowl, parcel gilt creamer, and parcel gilt waste bowl. Each with punch reading "H. Wishart," the sugar and creamer additionally marked with a pseudo hallmark of an eagle, each with delicate stippled engraved floral and foliate scrolling band to body, shell and swag design to rims, no monograms.
