George III Mahogany Secretary Bookcase

Late 18th century, three part form, mahogany and deal secondary, broken arched pediment with carved and gilt eagle and dentil molding, upper cabinet doors with applied molded trim, interior with louvered shelves, lower case with slant front lid opening to reveal a divided and drawered interior, over four graduated and cock beaded drawers raised on shaped bracket feet.

Old but later carved and gilt eagle; slant lid is warped; previous evidence of surface mold.
