Caswell County, North Carolina, mid-19th century, mahogany and mahogany veneer, six-part form, double paneled headboard with stylized gothic arch, panels divided with center stile having an applied diamond design, crest with attached trefoil, the headboard hangs and is set within the headboard frame consisting of two paneled vertical stiles with trefoil capital on distinctive shaped feet, low shaped footboard with rounded corners and distinctive shaped foot, together with two shaped side rails, with four bolts.
