Columbia "Sterling" Disc Graphophone
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
Circa 1910, nickel-plated brass bell flower horn, the oak cabinet with original decals having patent dates through 1906.

From the Collection of Mary Wells, Greensboro, North Carolina

Mechanical adjustment is needed in order for the motor to operate quietly at a desired rate; the brake appears worn and does not engage; dings and scuffs to cabinet from normal use; oxidation to metallic elements; missing two screws where the horn attaches to the arm, and one screw is missing from the external collar around the crank. A mid-level project that should yield good results.
