19th century, rectangular form, copper plaque with exceptionally fine hand-painted scene of Venus and Cupid in a garden setting with a herm, gilt highlights, unsigned, mounted to a later pressboard backing.

Minor chipping to enamel at lower left corner; affixed to the backboard with an unknown adhesive.
