The first an oil on canvas landscape in the Hudson River School style, unsigned, presented in the original gilt frame (DOA 16 x 19.5 in.) (surface grime, small paint flake at center, minor chipping to frame); the second an oil on artist's board, signed "J. Hoecker" at lower right, inscribed "First Falls in Eastern Glenn / Naples NY / Sept. 26th 86" to the verso, presented in the original gilt frame (DOA 22.25 x 19.75 in.) (several scattered paint flakes, warped board, some marking and tarnish to frame).
