A Michigan native, Mark Chatterley earned his BFA with High Honor and MFA from Michigan State University. He maintains a studio in Williamston, MI where he fires his mysterious and whimsical creations in a walk-in kiln. His sculptures are in numerous public and private collections including the Gregg Museum of Art & Design at North Carolina State University, Raleigh; the Paine Art Center & Gardens, Oshkosh, WI; Kresge Art Museum, MSU, East Lansing, MI; The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas, NV; and the Botanical Gardens in Toledo, OH.

Several cracks to legs (appears stable); this sculpture has always been displayed indoors.
