Qing dynasty (1644-1912), finely hand embroidered silk cushion cover with a myriad of flowers amidst auspicious bats and peaches symbolizing long life and unity, the exquisite peony blooms have scrolling leaves in dark blue and light green, four purple swastikas symbolizing the Buddha's footprint surround the central flower executed in the "forbidden stitch" or Peking knot technique all on a light yellow silk ground, unlined.
