The first being a redhead canvas decoy by John Fulcher, Corolla, NC, circa 1930, unsigned, the base painted with the "JB" initials of owner John Burris, Hatteras, NC, purchased from Philip Harvey in 1989 (LOA 19.5 in.) (moderate weathering; some rusting to nail heads; wear to canvas); the second a black-headed canvas duck, unsigned (LOA 15.25 in.) (light aging and wear; splits to canvas on central rib of frame).
