Meiji period (1868-1912), hand painted with horses in shades of blue galloping through a landscape with pine, plum, and bamboo trees, the center has a round medallion populated with iron red floral blooms, underside of the rims with arabesque decoration in shades of blue.

Good estate condition; some tape remains; some pitting and fire defects to glaze; some very slight rubbing with loss to enamels at rim; one bowl with either nick or popped glaze bubble to interior surface.
