Early 19th century, mahogany veneers, white pine secondary, painted metal face marked "Adams Whipple Troy", with moon dial, date dial, second hand, hood featuring an elegant swan's neck pediment with inlaid terminus with four light and dark wood connected leaves, turned finial with light and dark wood inlaid plinth, light and dark wood inlay to upper stiles, reeded hood columns, the case with upper cove molding above distinctive veneered and light and dark wood inlaid frieze, hinged waist door with triple line inlay, flanked by reeded quarter columns, the base with circular panel within a triple line inlay, scalloped skirt, straight feet.

Fair condition; face with crazing and paint losses, especially to moon dial; hood door with later glazing and glass; waist door with veneer chip to upper right corner; right front foot veneer facing missing; cut and patch to right rear foot; with two weights, pendulum, clock key, bell strike, and second hand.
