Thanhardt-Berger (formerly Newcomb-Macklin) was the last U.S. manufacturer of custom oval frames. Now closed (2016) they were a premier custom picture frame company in the country for nearly one hundred years with examples of their work in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
