Circa 1780, poplar secondary, hinged lid with wrought iron fishtail hinges, applied molding to edge, breadboard ends, interior with till to left side, featuring two side-by side-drawers, dovetailed case, the front panel inlaid "HL 1774", applied wist molding, base with two side-by-side molded lipped drawers, molded base with shaped ogee bracket feet.

Top with light wear and scratching; missing crab lock; replaced pulls with plug holes; shrinkage crack to right side front and rear foot facings; small chipping at pads of feet; some later blocking; feet are original.
