To include: six dinner plates (10 in.), five each cups, saucers; three smaller plates; accessory pieces are a coffee pot, sugar and creamer; covered serving dish; open serving dish; spoon rest, sauce dish, a fish platter (24 in.) for a total of (27) pieces. Included in this lot are two "Varages" plates having a similar peasant motif.

Quimper faience is produced in a factory near Quimper, in Brittany, France. Since 1708, Quimper faience has been painted by hand, and production continues to this day.
