Circa 1840s, mahogany, mahogany veneer, tall reeded posts with ball finial featuring relief carved beading and acanthus leaf, each foot a carved paw on casters, both head and foot board with acanthus carved crest and applied carved diamond shaped molding, with two side rails, four bolts, and three box spring supports.

Several areas of molding loss; surface scratches; crack and repair to left footboard post.
