Edo period (1615-1868), ink and colors on paper, a gathering of people, each identified with a cartouche, on a balcony overlooking the sea, one figures stands up waving probably a war fan instructing an unseen army, wonderful details to clothing, positioning, and character expression as characteristic of Kuniyoshi, a large cartouche of calligraphy in the left print of group details the scene, framed, not examined outside of the frame.
