19th century, unusual red lacquered carved wooden stands each raised on four feet, ornate carving with stylized dragons and floral motifs some within medallions that have green painted background, back of stand is shaped like an aureole with darkened glass where statue's head might have been, like a halo, or to show the back of the figure's head, "big temple" in Chinese characters is written on underside of each stand.
